Mongolia seeks developer for main coal field - St. Louis Business Journal: "Mongolia’s biggest state-owned coal company is offering a one-year contract to develop part of the country’s largest coal field, in hopes of reviving global mining companies’ interest.
The contract with the coal company, Erdenes Tavan Tolgoi LLC, will be for mining up to 2 million metric tons of coking coal in Tavan Tolgoi coal field, Bloomberg reports. The coal would be sold to the Chinese."
