Char-Koosta News - Mongolians visit wildlife crossing: "Mongolian officials made their debut in the Flathead Reservation area last Saturday according to Dale Becker, CSKT Tribal Wildlife Program Manager.
Sunday the Mongolian group offered a brief background presentation to the Montana Department of Transportation, CSKT Wildlife officials and other wildlife experts who absorbed the needs and issues based out of Mongolia at the Montana Department of Transportation District Office in Missoula, according to Becker.
Monday included a half-day field trip to check out the CSKT wildlife crossings in Evaro.
Mongolia, a country with a majestic yet harsh landscape, is a densely populated country. It is hot and windswept in the summer and bone-chilling cold in the winter."
