We interviewed Blue Sky Team’s member, B.Tseveendash. He is a first degree mountaineer and boxer, and now he is training himself for a marathon—a long distance running competition.
-Who came up with the idea to climb Mount Everest? Please elaborate on how the team was formed and how you prepared for it?
-I first visited Tibet in 1997 with my mother. We joined a couple of elderly people who were going to Utai Gumben, Lhasa, Nepal and Dharamsala to visit the 9th Dalia Lama. Our initial plan for going back was through the Nepal and Tibet border by a car but snow has fallen from the Himalayan Mountain blocking the road. "
