Mongolia listed among top ten uranium rich countries | Ubpost News: "French miner Areva’s subsidiary, Areva Mongol, announced last week that it has discovered a 54,000 ton uranium deposit in Zuuvch Ovoo. According to Areva, this finding doubles Mongolia’s currently estimated uranium deposit, placing the country among the top ten uranium rich countries in the world.
The company claims there has not been a discovery of a uranium deposit this big in 20 years.
Areva Mongol reportedly discovered a deposit of more than 9,600 tons of uranium at their Dulaan Uul mine two years ago."
