It's a long way from Rose Bay to South-East Asia, but Irish ex-pats, urban planner Catherine Nicholson and her retired accountant husband Alex, are about to embark on the journey of a lifetime, and they are calling for people to accompany them.
They already have one taker -- health department staffer Dorothy McCartney. The trio will set out for the UK in early July, where they will buy a truck to drive across Europe to Mongolia.
"It's in partnership with a charity and, once we arrive, we'll be handed a pint of beer and told thank you very much when we hand over the keys," Mr Nicholson said with a grin."
