Included on the agenda was a visit to the 5th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Western Military District in the Moscow Region. Bat-Erdene met with Russian Federation Defense Minister, Army-General Sergei Shoigu, in talks described by both sides as "cordial and constructive".
