‘Norman Rockwell’s America’exhibition opens in Mongolia | Ubpost News: "Painting exhibition ‘Norman Rockwell’s America’ had its official opening on Wednesday evening, November 7, at the Red Ger Gallery of the Khan Bank. The exhibition is being held as part of the celebrations of the 25th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the USA and Mongolia and is jointly organized by the Arts Council of Mongolia, Norman Rockwell Museum and the US Embassy in Mongolia.
The exhibition showcased more than 20 paintings from one of the most beloved artist of the USA, Norman Rockwell, including covers for popular magazines, and war bond posters done during World War II, as well as other drawings and illustrations.
Born in 1894 in the New York City, Norman Rockwell, was one of the best and most celebrated painter-illustrator of the 20th century. He was famous for his humorous and ironic characters."
