Arirang News: "North Korea and Japan have reportedly made progress in talks held last week in Mongolia over the long-contested issue of the abduction of Japanese nationals to the North in the 1970s and 80s.
Without giving details on where the progress was made, the North's representative Song Il-ho told reporters negotiations with Tokyo will not be completed after one or two meetings, because there are so many unresolved issues between the two countries."
