Way clear for Rio control of Ivanhoe: "
Ivanhoe owns 66 per cent of Oyu Tolgoi and the Mongolian government controls the remainder. The project will be one of the world's five biggest copper mines, according to Rio, which controls the management of Oyu Tolgoi.
"This is very good news in terms of Ivanhoe being taken over by Rio," a Toronto-based analyst at Salman Partners said."
