Embassy called following Valpo crash: "VALPARAISO | Two men from Mongolia were arrested Sunday morning, one on drunken driving charges and the other on outstanding warrants, following a crash.
Valparaiso police were called to Family Express, 752 Lincolnway, about 6:45 a.m. Sunday after an employee said a man said he was in a car crash across the street.
When officers arrived, they found a car left the road, jumped a sidewalk and went into a wooded area south of Lincolnway.
Police said Bud Tserenjankhar, 47, and Munkhbat Khangal, 46, both suffered facial cuts in the crash. Police said neither men spoke much English and were able to provide only their birth dates and say they were traveling to Chicago when their car slid off the slick road."
